Problems worth building real software for.
Abra Innovations just launched. These are the areas we're actively building in, not shipped products, but problems we're committed to solving for Aruba.
Maritime Intelligence
The Problem
Cruise ships can bring thousands of passengers ashore within a narrow window, and the island's transportation network has no shared, real-time view of that flow. The result is congestion at the port and a rougher first impression for visitors.
Our Approach
We're building a system that aggregates real-time maritime data to give local transportation operators actionable, ahead-of-time visibility into passenger volume. Dispatch and routing decisions get made before the bottleneck happens, not during it.
Urban Mobility
The Problem
Much of the island's transit and tour dispatching is still coordinated manually, by radio, phone, or paper, which makes it hard for operators to see fleet status in real time or for visitors to know what to expect.
Our Approach
We're building software that lets local operators digitize dispatching and gain live visibility into their own fleets, closing the gap between how transit is actually run and what modern tourist expectations demand.
Localized EdTech
The Problem
Aruba's workforce operates across multiple languages, and generic language-learning tools aren't built around the specific mix of languages and professional contexts residents actually need.
Our Approach
We're exploring an adaptive learning platform, grounded in NLP, that's tailored to local and international language pairs relevant to Aruba's workforce. Built for practical fluency, not generic curricula.
